The Flame Haired Solstice Dreamer

Cold winter brings the Everfrost and jewels every tree
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
A flame~haired dreamer wanders there and shelters from the wind
And spins her dreams around the trees to break the ties that bind
She takes her thread and spins anew and how the Greenwood smiles
As she spins a spell for freedom and for her spirit Wylde

The dreamer finds an ancient oak and shelters in his lee
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
Tis summer now and birdsong weaves its magick through her spells
And humming bees drum drowsily in the foxglove's bells
The dreamer sits beneath the oak with yarn upon her knee
And spins and knits and weaves her dreams and sets her spirit free

"When birds fall from the sky and the animals are dying, a new tribe of people...shall come unto the earth from many colors, classes, creeds, who by their actions and deeds shall make the earth green again. they will be known as the warriors of the Rainbow"

Hopi Prophecy

merry meet

another day of feeling fine...not well but better.

i finally finished my first marked assignment and sent it in via the online system. today was the cut off date so i hope sending in on the cut off date allows it to be marked. i checked the advise and it doesn't say anything about not submitting on the cut off...fingers crossed!

i started the reading on the Colosseum last night, from page one i knew i was really going to enjoy this module!

yet again i have not been outside, as soon as i get slightly cold i start to cough, and this morning i actually felt pretty poorly again. i guess it will be a few days before i start to feel my version of well again. luckily swampy has had a slight sniffle that went the same day.

anyway i think that will do from me today, i shall be having an early night with a treat, a white hot chocolate tucked up under the covers.

I remember when we use to cough when we were little, my nana would rub castor oil into our chest to break the congestion. I hope you feel better soon. peppermint oil on the chakras of the feet and palms of hands is good too.

I'm sure all will be well with your assignment. What course are you doing? The Colosseum reminds me of Classical Studies 'A' level that I did many years ago - is yours along the same lines?

Hi mis*r and Rowan...i have been applying Vicks and putting olbus oil on tissues, oh the smell!

Rowan, i have finally cleared the intro to my course and geting my teeth into history! this section is all about the Colosseum and how it was ot just an arena for games, looking ito its political links and how it was important for society, and also how it reflected the structure of roman society. it is so interesting.

All things share the same breath~the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
