The Flame Haired Solstice Dreamer

Cold winter brings the Everfrost and jewels every tree
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
A flame~haired dreamer wanders there and shelters from the wind
And spins her dreams around the trees to break the ties that bind
She takes her thread and spins anew and how the Greenwood smiles
As she spins a spell for freedom and for her spirit Wylde

The dreamer finds an ancient oak and shelters in his lee
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
Tis summer now and birdsong weaves its magick through her spells
And humming bees drum drowsily in the foxglove's bells
The dreamer sits beneath the oak with yarn upon her knee
And spins and knits and weaves her dreams and sets her spirit free

"When birds fall from the sky and the animals are dying, a new tribe of people...shall come unto the earth from many colors, classes, creeds, who by their actions and deeds shall make the earth green again. they will be known as the warriors of the Rainbow"

one thing after another!

Dia dhuit

can you believe it...my moontime ailments fade so instead i get a migraine!

we went for our weekly shop today and travelling down the lane just outside the village the mist was laying low in the smaller valleys between two ancient settlements and we found ourselves driving through small patches of the mist.
it was a lovely morning and everything was a pinky/blue.
it was good to get out as we have a weather warning coming for thursday and friday~possible snow but i will belive that when i see it!
tomorrow is going to be nice and swampy is off logging in the afternoon so i shall be catching up on some serious reading~three days with no studies is not good. so i intend on an early night and a mug of hot milk and honey and a good nights sleep.
thank you all for your comments regarding the non-move, i really do belive that it means something better is waiting for us!
there was nothing available today on the new listings but we shall wait patiently.
we are still sorting through our belongings in a wild spring clean and it does feel good to clear space and whittle down possessions.
its lovely to own things but it is also nice to be free of having so many things around, having space...

I quite agree with the clear out ,we are doing just the same thing and I must admit I do feel better for it!Glad that you were feeling a little better, but migraines can really knock you for six,Ceri suffers badly from them, she had the start of one yesterday when I went to make her some tea,I don't think she'll see much of today if it turns into a full blown one!Hope the studying goes ok,don't over do it!love from Kathyann and the girls

All things share the same breath~the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
