The Flame Haired Solstice Dreamer

Cold winter brings the Everfrost and jewels every tree
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
A flame~haired dreamer wanders there and shelters from the wind
And spins her dreams around the trees to break the ties that bind
She takes her thread and spins anew and how the Greenwood smiles
As she spins a spell for freedom and for her spirit Wylde

The dreamer finds an ancient oak and shelters in his lee
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
Tis summer now and birdsong weaves its magick through her spells
And humming bees drum drowsily in the foxglove's bells
The dreamer sits beneath the oak with yarn upon her knee
And spins and knits and weaves her dreams and sets her spirit free

Hopi Prophecy

~oh free hugs~

dia dhuit
well anyone who visits me may well go over and visit the lovely Poppie, up in yorkshire and have seen her latest post and, hopefully followed the link there~if you havent then look to the right of my blog and see the link there too and also a link to the website.
it makes me think of my warp and weft post the other day~it seems something has come along to add to our great big world weaving~something to spread happiness and love and well being across our planet.
i love this idea so much i am gong to make myself a 'free hug' banner and take to our camp next week~there are going to be about 60-70 people in our group so i can expect to spread the word a little!

Thats spooky! I just added a new post to my site before looking at yours, asking everyone to check out the free hugs video i saw on you Tube. It's a small world. Isn't it lovely though it really made me smile. I've already shown my hubby and best mate. I love the idea of taking a banner to camp. I'm going to Beltane camp in Brokenhurst so will take one too.

All things share the same breath~the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
