~good grief~

i dispair of this country and the attitudes of people~some people~here.

it goes like this~immigrants come into the country, legally, buy a home, have jobs~in this case low wage jobs~ and pay taxes and yet locals complain that they are using tax payers money in order to access public services.

I am sorry but if they pay their taxes do they not have a right to access public services like every other person in this country?

whats laughable is that in a documnetry a regular young man, born in this country and unemployed was asked if he would take a low paid job~his reply~no he would want more money.

i just hate this stupid attitude~what makes these people so special they think they should be given huge wages on a plate and yet they moan about people from Poland or wherever coming here legally and 'taking their jobs'

its a farce.

and yet all these 'Brits' think its just fine for them to go swanning over to France and spain and do exactly the same thing!

the mind boggles.

i get so mad and i am ashamed to be classed as British right now, to me there is nothing to be proud of in this dreadful country at this time.

~but at the same time i am proud of my ancestral heritage but at the same time i really do feel so solitary~solitary in that i feel apart from others who feel the same, who feel the same pull of their ancestors~the ancient tribes of this land~

we seem to be a country out of control~higher and higher taxes, a government to just takes and takes, a health service so far removed from a public health service it started out as to be laughable, young people being brought up with no respect for anything, anyone and finding kudos in it with parents who just do not give a crap, police who no longer have the powers to kurb the bad behavious~the same for teachers~the list is endless and i am getting even madder so i best stop...
