The Flame Haired Solstice Dreamer

Cold winter brings the Everfrost and jewels every tree
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
A flame~haired dreamer wanders there and shelters from the wind
And spins her dreams around the trees to break the ties that bind
She takes her thread and spins anew and how the Greenwood smiles
As she spins a spell for freedom and for her spirit Wylde

The dreamer finds an ancient oak and shelters in his lee
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
Tis summer now and birdsong weaves its magick through her spells
And humming bees drum drowsily in the foxglove's bells
The dreamer sits beneath the oak with yarn upon her knee
And spins and knits and weaves her dreams and sets her spirit free

~misery of a summer cold~

these sweet peas are now over five foot tall and smell amazing, we have the same out the front and have enough to pick and have around the house

a short post, just to show you more of our flowers. i seem to have gone down with a summer cold which is annoying as we are having perfect swimming weather!

i have also been having trouble accessing some of your blogs~they will open and then i get a screen telling me the 'operation has been aborted', this started to happen quite recently, so if i have been a regular at your blog and i seem to be ignoring you~i am not its my computer! anyway i have had swampy looking at it and its possible my recent move to explorer 8 was the problem, we shall just have to wait and see.

well now, i am now feeling rather rough, to say the least, so will say goodbye for now

Hope the cold is better soon lee.

Ive read on a few blogs lately people talking of the same problem, maybe its a problem with blogger itself?

and if you type in each blogs URL manually rather than clicking a link or bookmark, the blogs will open properly.

oh what gorgeous sweet peas! I adore them.. and the third photo... that is a vine that takes me way back to my paternal grandmas place.. she had it growing up her verandah.. not sure of the name and it is a plant I don't see much at all nowadays..

as to the explorer problem.. I have had it too with some blogs..
hope you feel better soon, nothing worse than a summer cold!

All things share the same breath~the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
