The Flame Haired Solstice Dreamer

Cold winter brings the Everfrost and jewels every tree
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
A flame~haired dreamer wanders there and shelters from the wind
And spins her dreams around the trees to break the ties that bind
She takes her thread and spins anew and how the Greenwood smiles
As she spins a spell for freedom and for her spirit Wylde

The dreamer finds an ancient oak and shelters in his lee
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
Tis summer now and birdsong weaves its magick through her spells
And humming bees drum drowsily in the foxglove's bells
The dreamer sits beneath the oak with yarn upon her knee
And spins and knits and weaves her dreams and sets her spirit free

"When birds fall from the sky and the animals are dying, a new tribe of people...shall come unto the earth from many colors, classes, creeds, who by their actions and deeds shall make the earth green again. they will be known as the warriors of the Rainbow"

they should hang the bastards. i have no sympathy for them, whatever the court gives um won't be enough. I've worked in animal rescue centres, i've seen what these people do and they should be wiped out. I bet they get a couple dozen hours of community service and a slap on the wrist. pathetic. Sorry if this sounds harsh, but like i've said. I've seen the animals afterwards.

I read the first couple of lines. I can't read anymore. I have witnessed too much animal abuse in my lifetime and I feel far too deeply. Whats WRONG with these people? An eye for an eye is what the punishment should be. I think we should all have our turns giving them a taste of their treatment. I totally agree with Jopan...I feel the same with abuse against children and the elderly. Enrages me to the core. I gotta go kiss my cats...stay warm friend :) ~ER~

Now there's three individuals the planet could do without. Absolutely disgusting!

This is just horrible, I simply cannot understand the mindset of people who can deliberately hurt animals. As far as I'm concerned there is no punishment too harsh for acts like this - physical punishment that would give them a taste of their own medicine. Not very PC but there you go!

All things share the same breath~the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
