The Flame Haired Solstice Dreamer

Cold winter brings the Everfrost and jewels every tree
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
A flame~haired dreamer wanders there and shelters from the wind
And spins her dreams around the trees to break the ties that bind
She takes her thread and spins anew and how the Greenwood smiles
As she spins a spell for freedom and for her spirit Wylde

The dreamer finds an ancient oak and shelters in his lee
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
Tis summer now and birdsong weaves its magick through her spells
And humming bees drum drowsily in the foxglove's bells
The dreamer sits beneath the oak with yarn upon her knee
And spins and knits and weaves her dreams and sets her spirit free

thursday 28th june... henna headache!

Merry Meet )o(
its just coming up to 9pm and I am ready for sleep...I have one of those nagging headaches that wont go away.
Anyway let Swampy loose on my hair with henna earlier this evening and I dont think nearly two hours with my hair wrapped in cling-film helped the headache...but as I was reminded...no pain no gain...well I have gained a headfull of very bright hair so I wont really complain.
Have done nothing with the vegetables today, just glanced over them this morning, the radish are suddenly going crazy.
Bought the june copy of Ecologist...not read very much of it but what I have read is very thought provoking and I will post thoughts on what I have read in the days to come.
well thats all for today, a quiet listen to Radio 4 beckons...

and as for certain eco-warriors...I shall deal with you later :P
