The Flame Haired Solstice Dreamer

Cold winter brings the Everfrost and jewels every tree
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
A flame~haired dreamer wanders there and shelters from the wind
And spins her dreams around the trees to break the ties that bind
She takes her thread and spins anew and how the Greenwood smiles
As she spins a spell for freedom and for her spirit Wylde

The dreamer finds an ancient oak and shelters in his lee
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
Tis summer now and birdsong weaves its magick through her spells
And humming bees drum drowsily in the foxglove's bells
The dreamer sits beneath the oak with yarn upon her knee
And spins and knits and weaves her dreams and sets her spirit free

Merry Meet )o(
back from our two weeks in the van with a cold, but to have two weeks sleeping in the van with my books and wind-up radio is, to me, bliss so I wont complain. The weather was not too bad, the first week was spent living in wellies and brushing dried mud dust out of the van as it dried and fell off of Cody! Now I am wanting to go off again...while away we met up with a friend we thought we had lost some years back and his other half...he is as lovely as I remember him to be and she is just as lovely and we are hoping to catch up with them again in september.

We came home yesterday...today will be spent emptying the van, cleaning and washing...the chimney sweep came while we were gone so had to clean the fine layer of soot from the kitchen before doing anything. Because of my cold I am being a bit feeble(!)and doing my unpacking bit by bit.
While I was gone my ticket to go and see Seth Lakeman at Exeter's Great Hall arrived and while I was away booked tickets for me and my sister to see him in Southampton, the day before the Exeter concert...Sam is not really into folk music but as she is going to take me to see Take That(!!!) in Birmingham later this year I would like to repay her...
My latest tattoo has healed up nicely and hope to soon have its twin on my other arm...I have that lop-sided feeling.

All things share the same breath~the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
