The Flame Haired Solstice Dreamer

Cold winter brings the Everfrost and jewels every tree
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
A flame~haired dreamer wanders there and shelters from the wind
And spins her dreams around the trees to break the ties that bind
She takes her thread and spins anew and how the Greenwood smiles
As she spins a spell for freedom and for her spirit Wylde

The dreamer finds an ancient oak and shelters in his lee
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
Tis summer now and birdsong weaves its magick through her spells
And humming bees drum drowsily in the foxglove's bells
The dreamer sits beneath the oak with yarn upon her knee
And spins and knits and weaves her dreams and sets her spirit free

tuesday 17th july... ill, ill, ill

Merry Meet )o(

Stinking cold, slept badly and because I have M.E it makes me feel even worse.
This however is not stopping me from having a Harry Potter dilemma...do I...
1... order through a big internet company and have it delivered to my door on saturday
2... queue at midnight on friday (not likely with this cold)
3... Go back down the lanes on saturday on a 30 mile round trip just to buy it in person

I guess the ordering option is best...but will it arrive saturday as promised?!

I have finally re-joined 2CVGB after some years (I have previously owned three 2cv's;a grey on grey Charleston, a white Special with Winnie the pooh graphics and a black on maroon Charleston named Mrs Badcrumble...only relevant if you are into Eddie Izzard)
Owning Pippin we feel the need to attend more Citroen/H van/2cv events as opposed to all the VW ones we attend, especially considering we no longer have our old Bay window. I love BVF and Vanfest, where we help out every year and meeting up with old friends, the actual VW scene holds no interest for me any more so I would love to be more involved in going to these new events. Luckily I am off to a good start with the 2CV National coming up and then a Citroen Car club rally where we are staging a special H van display 'French village Scene' to celebrate the H's 60th birthday. Planning a French country cottage display for us.
Well that may be all for today unless I get back on the computer...the way Im feeling I doubt it...saving my energy to watch the Tour...

All things share the same breath~the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
