The Flame Haired Solstice Dreamer

Cold winter brings the Everfrost and jewels every tree
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
A flame~haired dreamer wanders there and shelters from the wind
And spins her dreams around the trees to break the ties that bind
She takes her thread and spins anew and how the Greenwood smiles
As she spins a spell for freedom and for her spirit Wylde

The dreamer finds an ancient oak and shelters in his lee
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
Tis summer now and birdsong weaves its magick through her spells
And humming bees drum drowsily in the foxglove's bells
The dreamer sits beneath the oak with yarn upon her knee
And spins and knits and weaves her dreams and sets her spirit free

sunday 29th july...raging ear ache

Merry Meet )o(
the cold I caught after our two week camping jamboree has turned into total deafness and a raging ear ache in my left ear and I feel mightily cheesed off, took paracetamol and spent an hour with a hot water bottle against my ear! weirdly I had exactly the same in my right ear at the end of december. then swampy called an emergency doc as our surgery was closed, but he never turned up!
well its the last day of the tour and I will be tuning in at 2.30...but it feels that something is not right now after the flurry of bans, some of the excitement has gone. I hope that feeling comes back next year.
I didnt post yesterday as swampy was busy talking to his daughter Lou and downloading and working out how to use the new font I wanted to use...that only those of you with it already on your pc or who have downloaded it can see! ahhh the wonders of technology!
after my last posting I was all fired up for one of my rants against authority but today my ear has left me a bit 'rantless'...mostly to do with conventionality in housing, land issues, authority etc. I am sure I will see something in the news to start me up again.

All things share the same breath~the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
