The Flame Haired Solstice Dreamer

Cold winter brings the Everfrost and jewels every tree
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
A flame~haired dreamer wanders there and shelters from the wind
And spins her dreams around the trees to break the ties that bind
She takes her thread and spins anew and how the Greenwood smiles
As she spins a spell for freedom and for her spirit Wylde

The dreamer finds an ancient oak and shelters in his lee
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
Tis summer now and birdsong weaves its magick through her spells
And humming bees drum drowsily in the foxglove's bells
The dreamer sits beneath the oak with yarn upon her knee
And spins and knits and weaves her dreams and sets her spirit free

tuesday 31st july...so much pain

merry meet )o(
well I have not posted because I was bundled off to the out of hours surgery on sunday evening, having spent most of the day with a hot water bottle up to my ear as my earache had developed into pain I never hope to have again.the 'earache' is actually a middle ear infection and I came away from the hospital armed with antibiotocs and codeine.I spent all day yesterday in bed as any movement was teeth-gridingly painful and I was only able to eat soft food with a tea spoon! this morning the tablets have obviously started to work as I woke pain free...however since getting dressed the pain is coming back and the more I move aound the pain increases so I dont think I will be doing a whole lot today...which is a shame because looking out of the window all I can see is clear blue sky!!!
I think swampy has planned out his day and some of it involves getting out the front and weeding and cleaning up the back yard and rearranging my herbs and sad looking crops.
I am hoping my recent purchase of Buddhist prayer flags will arrive today, I bought a small string to hang in Pippin and a set to attach to our flagpole we put up when we camp. the 2cv national at storrington is four weeks away...although if we dont source a 'new' hub or wheel bearing by then we wont be going anywhere...
later...forgot my midday medication and now feeling rough, my own fault...putting pyjamas back on and having a lay down...

All things share the same breath~the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
