The Flame Haired Solstice Dreamer

Cold winter brings the Everfrost and jewels every tree
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
A flame~haired dreamer wanders there and shelters from the wind
And spins her dreams around the trees to break the ties that bind
She takes her thread and spins anew and how the Greenwood smiles
As she spins a spell for freedom and for her spirit Wylde

The dreamer finds an ancient oak and shelters in his lee
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
Tis summer now and birdsong weaves its magick through her spells
And humming bees drum drowsily in the foxglove's bells
The dreamer sits beneath the oak with yarn upon her knee
And spins and knits and weaves her dreams and sets her spirit free

its a lovely dorset day today and my membership for 2CVGB arrived. i have been a sporadic member for the last 15 years with my ownership of three diferent 2cv's and we thought that owning Pippin and attending events we should really re-join. so the 2CVGB sticker will be going up on pippin today.
i was really unwell again yesterday, i went for what i call my 'prescribed' twenty minute walk to help with my blood sugar issues and i think my m.e was not impressed because within an hour of getting back home i was about ready to collapse and my earache was coming back so i spent the rest of the day in my pyjams going between the sofa and the bed dragging my red and white wooly ikea blanket with me.
saying that i am just about to go with swampy for another 'prescribed' and take cody up the lane for a good run and take some pictures.
no news of my open university funding yet...keep those good vibes coming!
