merry meet )o(
what a busy day~swampy has most of the van packed up, i have made two batches of seitan, the cottage is clean and tidy, my clothes are packed and hair has had it henna topped up!
i thought i would squeeze in this one last post before i have a bath and an early night.
going back to my seitan~SUCCESS!!! i am so pleased, i did one batch with the simmer for ages and two batches baked in foil. i must admit i did take a slice or two from my first 'test run' baked and it tastes lovely.
we had to pop over to our doctors surgery today a journey of about 6 miles but which also means a drive through the village of Milton Abbas~famous for the abbey, which is now a very posh school. it is a true chocolate box village, so i thought it would be rude not to take a couple of photos and post. the one i took of the abbey is rather dark so not posted here, next trip over i will make swampy stop so i can take a proper one!
well this is my last post, unless i can sneak ten minutes access while I'm away and i have to say, i am going to miss my daily blogging and getting all your lovely comments~it feels as if i am going back to being a solitary solitary for a while again with no-one to express my wild thoughts and ideas with!
well my lovelies i shall say goodbye for a week. i hope you all take care and look out for one another~we may not be able to be supportive in person but of course the spirit is another thing altogether!
bright blessings)o(

Have a good trip, man!
Very interesting Blog, although I don't think I'll ever get used to you calling Keith, Swampy! When I think of Keith, a new age eco-warrior living in a hole in the ground or up a tree with matted dreadlocks doesn't seem to spring to mind.
He's much more..the heroe of the VW world, springing to the aid of a camperman/woman in distress. Is it possible to rename him 'Munchy' or the 'Baron'? A) for his new found appetite since he gave up smoking and B) because of the Munchousen syndrone by proxy that applies to his helpfulness with mechanical problems. What do you reckon Swampy? alx
