The Flame Haired Solstice Dreamer

Cold winter brings the Everfrost and jewels every tree
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
A flame~haired dreamer wanders there and shelters from the wind
And spins her dreams around the trees to break the ties that bind
She takes her thread and spins anew and how the Greenwood smiles
As she spins a spell for freedom and for her spirit Wylde

The dreamer finds an ancient oak and shelters in his lee
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
Tis summer now and birdsong weaves its magick through her spells
And humming bees drum drowsily in the foxglove's bells
The dreamer sits beneath the oak with yarn upon her knee
And spins and knits and weaves her dreams and sets her spirit free

H vans galore!

merry meet )o(
i thought it was high time i finally got around to posting about our H van camp at stratford racecourse and post you all some pictures~well here are a few!
it was a fantastic weekend, especially being surrounded by other vans~we are a rare breed you see so to have 34 camped in one place at the same time was quite special. the weekend was themed on a french village setting so out came quite a lot of bunting and flags and we all themed our vans on the village~a cafe, piano bar, gendarme etc. max, who owns 'bonvalot' and who 'ran' the piano bar brought with him a velo solex,a bike that runs on a tiny engine and i think there will be quite a few people now looking for their own on e-bay~swampy being one of them!
as well as h vans there were a lot of 2cv's, 2cv vans and ds's and there was a great deal of good humour and people wanting to discuss their vans with others. it was fun seeing how others have converted their vans and what was special was that there was no one-up manship~which we found to be prevelant in other camper scenes~they were all old, had rust, had an assortement of paint and primer etc but we all loved them no matter what their state.
we met some really lovely new people and with swampy taking on the h van register with another chap (and the solex rider here being the chap to update the website!) we will be having many more happy camps!

I just scrolled down and the photos are fantastic! thanks for sharing with us xo

All things share the same breath~the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
