The Flame Haired Solstice Dreamer

Cold winter brings the Everfrost and jewels every tree
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
A flame~haired dreamer wanders there and shelters from the wind
And spins her dreams around the trees to break the ties that bind
She takes her thread and spins anew and how the Greenwood smiles
As she spins a spell for freedom and for her spirit Wylde

The dreamer finds an ancient oak and shelters in his lee
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
Tis summer now and birdsong weaves its magick through her spells
And humming bees drum drowsily in the foxglove's bells
The dreamer sits beneath the oak with yarn upon her knee
And spins and knits and weaves her dreams and sets her spirit free

Samhain Blessings

merry meet and bright blessings at this Samhain

well swampy, cody and i are home. Banbury was covered in mist and clouds from the moment we arrived right up to sunset on sunday, so i missed our Hunters Moon...and i don't know why but it was really important to me this year, i have yet to find out why, maybe it will come to me via my next pathworking.
however as the campsite was surrounded by trees and fields it was good to have peaceful moments just gazing at the trees through the mist and watch and listen to the birds and owls at night. when the sky did clear at sunset on sunday i was treated to the most amazingly large, orange/red moon rising right opposite where we had parked pippin and slowly passing behind the leaf-bare oaks. it really was a fantastic site and made up for the previous few days.
last night we arrived home just before moon rise so was treated to the sight of it rising brightly from beyond Bulbarrow. and if that wasn't enough i was treated to a fantastic sunrise this morning.

All things share the same breath~the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
