"When birds fall from the sky and the animals are dying, a new tribe of people...shall come unto the earth from many colors, classes, creeds, who by their actions and deeds shall make the earth green again. they will be known as the warriors of the Rainbow"
Hopi Prophecy
a chilly walk
merry meet
just a short post today. After spending a good part of today finishing my draft work...one more small bit to go, i decided i needed a walk to clear my head and recharge. so i set off just after 3pm.
i went to my special stream, had a buzzard fly low in front of me, deer run into the field in front of me and as i went back up the field rabbits were running around.
i then crossed the lane, crossed the now empty wheat field and on up to what we call the badger field.
it was cold and breezy and my hands quickly became numb, i didnt quite realise how cold it was today in the wind.
but the views were amazing and i could clearly see the ramparts of the bronze age settlement at Bell Hill and the two other hilltop settlements that are at the edges of our village and felt so close to the ancestors of this land .
it was a special end to the day.
All things share the same breath~the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.

I would love to go back to living in the countryside I miss it so much ,I come from a farming background and in my childhood days we wandered through the woods and over the fields without a care in the world, it was so peaceful.! Hope Cody is much better ! Love from Kathyann
