well i have finished and submitted my 6th essay and we have packed up 'pippin' ready for our trip up to the Peak District.
we plan on leaving about 7am as we think it will take us about 7 hours, pippin is not the fastest van in the world, which is not a problem for us as we consider journeys to be adventures~not just a way to get from A to B in the fastest time possible.
we enjoy the views and stop about every two hours to have some air and walk cody, brew up a cup of tea...the journey is as much fun as the camping!
the picture is an old one of the interior we have made for pippin~my curtains i made from blue french ticking are not up and the dark little corner by the oven now has a weeny window there to let in more light and the floor is now real wood floorboards (my special wish that swampy did for me!)
so this weekend i shall be leaving the bed up across the back and spend my time in utter laziness, reading, listening to music and watching the Ireland rugby match!
i am so looking forward to it!
Last week i started reading the first book of philip pullman's 'his dark materials' trilogy~'northern lights' (from which The Golden Compass is based) they had a special offer in the book shop so was able to buy the second book 'the subtle knife' for half price.
golly is it addictive reading!
i finished 'northern lights' yesterday morning and started 'the subtle knife' within a few minutes! i have only read a few pages today so as to have a good read over the weekend.
well my michael wood programme is on shortly so i will stop here and get myself settled with a nice lemon tea and a few rich tea biscuits!
i hope you all have good weekends~especially those of you off to the seaside!
love & light to you all

Have a lovely, and safe, trip! take lots of photos!
BTW, I loved the Pullman trilogy, Ive read all three books three times now, and like stonewylde, went from book to book to book with no break, compulsive reading definitely! Oh, and they also made me cry too!
