The Flame Haired Solstice Dreamer

Cold winter brings the Everfrost and jewels every tree
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
A flame~haired dreamer wanders there and shelters from the wind
And spins her dreams around the trees to break the ties that bind
She takes her thread and spins anew and how the Greenwood smiles
As she spins a spell for freedom and for her spirit Wylde

The dreamer finds an ancient oak and shelters in his lee
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
Tis summer now and birdsong weaves its magick through her spells
And humming bees drum drowsily in the foxglove's bells
The dreamer sits beneath the oak with yarn upon her knee
And spins and knits and weaves her dreams and sets her spirit free

~sunny day over 'camp pippin'~

tea~bag quote of the day

'oneness is achieved by recognizing your self'

well back from my travels again and after a shower and a sleep wish i was off again! i am sure my irish family were travelling folk~it seems to be in my blood.

it was a great weekend away, the weather was fantastic, if a bit too hot for my pale skin but it was lovely to sit and have my view to be a forest and solitary oak tree~the only complaint would be a high hedge that obstructed my view of the Tor!!!

it was lovely to just sit and read and follow the shade around~i covered myself in suncream but still got caught and my freckles seem to have multiplied over night! i started to re-read the final harry potter book and ploughed through it quite well over the weekend.

i appointed myself cook for the weekend and cooked each night over a little cast iron barbeque and sat watching the bats and the waxing moon rise and the stars come out~it was just fantastic.

my wandering soul is now so restless...

so good to read about your time in Pippin! when I was at the Gypsy Caravan, I thought of you often.. it was cold and rainy and when I walked under the cold moon, I looked up and thought of you in Pippin!

Our campervan Florence has been poorly for ages, but hopefully she's coming home from the garage soon - I can't wait to be off somewhere again!

It's that time isn't it?

I miss traveling for the summer.

All things share the same breath~the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
