The Flame Haired Solstice Dreamer

Cold winter brings the Everfrost and jewels every tree
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
A flame~haired dreamer wanders there and shelters from the wind
And spins her dreams around the trees to break the ties that bind
She takes her thread and spins anew and how the Greenwood smiles
As she spins a spell for freedom and for her spirit Wylde

The dreamer finds an ancient oak and shelters in his lee
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
Tis summer now and birdsong weaves its magick through her spells
And humming bees drum drowsily in the foxglove's bells
The dreamer sits beneath the oak with yarn upon her knee
And spins and knits and weaves her dreams and sets her spirit free

Hopi Prophecy

~changes~

with all the changes in my life right now i am wondering whether to change the look of my blog.
i have been wondering this for some weeks now, just something to brighten it up, a new look to go with the new start.

maybe i shall have a play around and see what i can come up with!

Banbury Cross

well we are back from a weekend away near banbury and it was lovely to meet some new people who had not long had their campers and this was their first outing in their beloved vans.

the weather was not the best with some heavy showers but as usual i enjoyed the solitude i find in camping, sitting with my book, watching the clouds, listening to the birds.

our next trip is in a month when we will find ourselves down near brighton for ten days...just hope there is no clash with the big move!

love the peace flag.. I need a flag for the Gypsy caravan and something like that would be perfect.. must manifest one!

All things share the same breath~the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
