The Flame Haired Solstice Dreamer

Cold winter brings the Everfrost and jewels every tree
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
A flame~haired dreamer wanders there and shelters from the wind
And spins her dreams around the trees to break the ties that bind
She takes her thread and spins anew and how the Greenwood smiles
As she spins a spell for freedom and for her spirit Wylde

The dreamer finds an ancient oak and shelters in his lee
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
Tis summer now and birdsong weaves its magick through her spells
And humming bees drum drowsily in the foxglove's bells
The dreamer sits beneath the oak with yarn upon her knee
And spins and knits and weaves her dreams and sets her spirit free

~moving in an old Citroen & a trailer...~

... i have visions of us looking like the The Beverly Hillbillies!

we have researched removal vans and self-drive for our moving day~still waiting for moving date~and it will be so expensive. with the self-drive there is a 'miles a day' limit and anything over is 8p a mile...so have decided to move ourselves.

swampy thinks that we will be able to do it in four trips over two days and i think he is right.

luckily our 'pippin' is a very roomy van even with our camping interior and our trailer 'merry' (yes yes merry and pippin! am i glad we decided to buy the trailer when when we did!) is big enough to carry a washing machine plus boxes of non-fragile items.

my biggest worry is how to get our 'beast' out of the kitchen up three steep steps and into pippin. for any new folk who visit regularly this is the 'beast'...

a rather large ex GPO cooker...also very heavy as it is enamelled cast iron.

i worry then remember that we got it in so we will get it out!

somehow!

Wow! That is some stove!!! PROTECT YOUR BACKS!!! Use proper body mechanics when hauling that puppy!!!!
I checked out a New Forest website and it looks like such an amazing place to live! I'm so happy for you guys-what an ecxiting new journey. The packing and moving is a B**** , but it's always fun to set up and nest in a new home.

All things share the same breath~the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
