The Flame Haired Solstice Dreamer

Cold winter brings the Everfrost and jewels every tree
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
A flame~haired dreamer wanders there and shelters from the wind
And spins her dreams around the trees to break the ties that bind
She takes her thread and spins anew and how the Greenwood smiles
As she spins a spell for freedom and for her spirit Wylde

The dreamer finds an ancient oak and shelters in his lee
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
Tis summer now and birdsong weaves its magick through her spells
And humming bees drum drowsily in the foxglove's bells
The dreamer sits beneath the oak with yarn upon her knee
And spins and knits and weaves her dreams and sets her spirit free

Hopi Prophecy

~off-line~

i will be away from blogging for a few days now, we pick up our keys tomorrow and as my sister and her boyfriend both have taken the day off work to help us it means i wont have to keep coming back here to dorset with swampy (presently laying on the sofa in hysterics at 'top gear') to load up pippin

...my sisters boyfriend andrew is doing all the heavy work so i can stay in our new home with my huge pile of ecover products!

our offical move in date is monday but i have told him i will be sleeping in pippin outside my mums house! after days of unloading and cleaning i really dont want to drive all the way back here to an empty home just to sleep and if we do this then swampy and andrew can drive back here first thing in the morning...i have it all planned!

i have been busy all day and am about to pop out to pot my two lavender plants and some sweet peas to take with me, then pack the last few bits out of the bathroom then to bed. for the past four nights i have been falling asleep within a few minutes of getting in bed so i imagine i will do the same tonight.

i have to say the photo of cody was a random event...and the box was one i had not taped up so was 'bottomless'!
i was talking to swampy before making up the box and cody was sitting in front of us huffing to get some attention! so i just popped the box over him and he just sat there long enough for us to take the photo!

well i really must go... i shall hopefully be back online on monday if bt are on the ball!
goodbye for now and look after yourselves...hope you have a good weekend!

Hello Solsticedreamer, Sorry to hear that the beast is no more, it's a shame when that happens.

Take care

Kim (aka yarrow)

All things share the same breath~the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
