The Flame Haired Solstice Dreamer

Cold winter brings the Everfrost and jewels every tree
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
A flame~haired dreamer wanders there and shelters from the wind
And spins her dreams around the trees to break the ties that bind
She takes her thread and spins anew and how the Greenwood smiles
As she spins a spell for freedom and for her spirit Wylde

The dreamer finds an ancient oak and shelters in his lee
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
Tis summer now and birdsong weaves its magick through her spells
And humming bees drum drowsily in the foxglove's bells
The dreamer sits beneath the oak with yarn upon her knee
And spins and knits and weaves her dreams and sets her spirit free

Hopi Prophecy

i have not been doing much this past few days~my m.e has decided to give me a little reminder to slow down a little and so, luckily while i am on easter break from my studies, i have done little but sit in a comfy chair doing odd bits of my cross stitch sampler, although because i have been getting a lot of pain in my joints and muscles i can only do it for about half an hour.

i have also be flicking through my old copies of country living magazine~i love going through them for new ideas and as we will soon start up our last burst of decorating i have constant ideas for paint colors and i have a blanket box i want to paint as well.

*well now, typing is making my arms feel very sore so that is all for blogging today*

Hope you're soon feeling a bit brighter, must be so frustrating for you. That is a lovely chair to be sat in though :)

Hope you are feeling better - but there are worse ways of spending a weekend than cross-stitching and looking at Country Living while curled up in a comfy leather chair:)

hope your feeling better, I know how much pain can really slow you down.

All things share the same breath~the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
