The Flame Haired Solstice Dreamer

Cold winter brings the Everfrost and jewels every tree
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
A flame~haired dreamer wanders there and shelters from the wind
And spins her dreams around the trees to break the ties that bind
She takes her thread and spins anew and how the Greenwood smiles
As she spins a spell for freedom and for her spirit Wylde

The dreamer finds an ancient oak and shelters in his lee
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
Tis summer now and birdsong weaves its magick through her spells
And humming bees drum drowsily in the foxglove's bells
The dreamer sits beneath the oak with yarn upon her knee
And spins and knits and weaves her dreams and sets her spirit free

Hopi Prophecy

~of MOT & travels & horse drawn coaches~

saturday was MOT day so we had a drive back to melplash in dorset to the garage we have been using ever since we bought pippin~our man simon spcialises in h vans and we trust no-one else with our special van...and he always has other h vans parked up to investigate!
oh and pippin passed his mot with flying colors for the fourth year in a row!

above are the gate houses for the drax estate, situated between blandford-forum and dorchester~the walls surrounding the estate go on for miles

yesterday we had a collection of horse drawn coaches come through the village and it was quite a sight and the noise made by the hooves and wheels was pretty spectacular~ i am hoping it becomes a yearly event

Oh how I envy you the sight of those wonderful horse drawn coaches, it's the big working horses that I love. So glad pippin passed his MOT:)

All things share the same breath~the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
