i went over what i have always known as 'black bridge' to the wild fields beyond, that hundreds of years ago was clay pits, mainly to see the foal that had been born just a few hours earlier~luckily it is only a few minutes walk, the worse bit over the bridge itself...old, mossy wooden planks, some with gaps between showing the drop below, some horribly wobbly~i hate hights
over the bridge it was like entering another world and it made me think of rowans post today~a day when the veil between us and the fey is thin

there was a strong feeling of being watched and out of the corner of my eye i caught a flash of white, crossing the path...

Thank you for taking me on a walk through your part of the world -how lovely all the shades of green are, the leaves, the soft light on the narrow paths -the new life nestled on the grass. I'll think of it all day as I sit through lectures all day (it is a professional development day for the teachers -usually boring -but I always hope that I hit upon some good lectures)
Oh, those paths look soooo inviting! - a magical place indeed! And what an honour to see that newborn foal.
Beltane Blessings to you,

What a beautiful walk, it does indeed look magical on that forest path. And magical to see the new young life at the end your walk, such a beautiful sight. Beltane Blessings to you on this lovely day.
Your photos-and words make me wish I could have taken the walk with you.
