The Flame Haired Solstice Dreamer

Cold winter brings the Everfrost and jewels every tree
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
A flame~haired dreamer wanders there and shelters from the wind
And spins her dreams around the trees to break the ties that bind
She takes her thread and spins anew and how the Greenwood smiles
As she spins a spell for freedom and for her spirit Wylde

The dreamer finds an ancient oak and shelters in his lee
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
Tis summer now and birdsong weaves its magick through her spells
And humming bees drum drowsily in the foxglove's bells
The dreamer sits beneath the oak with yarn upon her knee
And spins and knits and weaves her dreams and sets her spirit free

This post makes me SO mad!! Girls always get CUTE shoes, and us guys are stuck with the same old crap year after year. I hope I come back as a lady in my next life, my feet just ache for some sassy shoes like these! ;)

I agree, purple is the best colour for these sandals, i think i need a pair too! Love the quote in your header, people born in 1967 ARE a bit special, it's nice to see that i;m in good company Lol! I also love your wonderful gift, she's absolutely beautiful and the little bags are a wonderful bonus aren't they, just lovely. Good luck in the shoe search at your mums xXx

Cool - so totally cool! I think you should go out and buy yourself another pair if you can't locate the ones you already have.

I myself, love my Birks!

peace & thanks for the support on my blog!

Some of my favorite sandles were 'roman' (& truely Italian made!) with ties that laced on the ankles - I wore them to the ground!!

Cheers
