i am still around.
but getting over a migraine and a few nights of not being able to sleep...well i get to sleep fine, generally feeling shattered by 7pm but then i usually wake around 1-2am and toss and turn, huff and puff-put on my ipod or radio 2's Alex Lester-the Dark Lord
i shall be catching up with you all over the next few days via blogs or e-mails, but right now i am going to make myself a bowl of porridge-with cream and brown sugar-and settle down to watch 'Seven Brides for Seven Brothers'

What Bliss! I love porridge and brown sugar. We have that film too. I think I bought it for nostalgia reasons, my Dad adored it and sang all the songs enthusiastically and hopelessly out of tune. I guess it's what you'd call a feel-good film. For me, it's "The Railway Children" with Jenny Agutter as Bobby, I never get tired of it.
Hope you'll sson be feeling more rested.
I love porridge with brown sugar & milk.. when I was little, a dollop of butter too.. but not so now..
enjoy your little retreat.. stay warm xoxo
I am sorry about you not feeling well, I hope your migraines will soon be dispersed. I hope you enjoyed the musical.;))

I *love* Seven Brides for Seven Brothers! Along with cream-and-brown-sugar-porridge, it sounds like very good medicine. Hope you're soon feeling better!
