here we are!
thank you for the tip leanne!
this is the 'mexico'~in reality it is more red and much brighter and very 'tweedy' with blues, purples, reds, greens and yellows.
it reminds me of glastonbury festival for some reason.
i had major 'crochet block' last night and for the life of me could not make up my mind what pattern to use for this~i think i must have unravelled my work at least four times and in the end decided to just put it away until today.
this morning i decided on a 5.5mm hook and settled on a traditional granny shawl.
i initially thought the wool too 'busy' but after doing five rows decided it is just perfect~and perfect for the little fae soul it is intended for.
this is the much chunkier wool i discarded for the fae project.
again, in reality it is nowhere near being the purple it looks here (talk about the camera never lies~well it does!)
in reality it is very autumnal red and orange with tweedy flecks.
as i mentioned yesterday this shawl will be going on etsy eventually.

here are the promised pictures of some of the work we have been doing to Pretty Pagan...
this is the side of the wardrobe that swampy has built for me (woo~hoo no more living out of bags!)
and today he is re-jigging the little shelf he put above my side of the bed, adding two doors and making one for his side.
he has done the same with the shelves above the 'kitchen' area~the trouble is with shelves, when you drive away you have to put things away into the larger cupboards unless you want everything to tumble off as you round the first corner.
now it means we can keep our tins of tea etc and mugs up in the cupboards.
~*~*~
i had to show you this picture of one of our borage plants...
such a beautiful plant.
we have four of these dotted around our garden, the fifth is at my mums, busy attracting the bee's there.
~*~*~
today has been fairly quiet and after the decent nights sleep i had on tuesday my insomnia was back again last night~so i think tonight i might have a very early night after a simple tea of boiled eggs and toast~our eggs are local free range, organic ones and make the best boiled eggs ever!
*i hope you day has been a good one*

Yes a good day thanks Laoi, sewing and moving furniture!
Your wool is just beautiful as are the touches you made to your camper!
PP is looking good as is that wool, it would make a cosy blanket. I'm going to look out for borage at the garden centre, particularly if the bees like it x
Gorgeousness all around :)
like the painted tentacles on PP.
I really like your decorate additions to 'Pretty Pagan' - she looks lovely. The new yarn you've found is lovely, must look out for it next time I'm near a yarn shop, we do have a good one in Sheffield but they are defintely few and far between. Our JohnLewis has a pretty good stock fortunately so I can nearly always get what I want there, though I do resort to online shopping occasionally. Glad you managed a decent night's sleep, here's to kmore of them:)
