we are home from our little moot and right now it just feels wrong to be in our little home.
camping always does this to me and even more this time for our friends who live in their camper joined us for two nights
hurst castle and the isle of wight beyond it...
the needles just visible...
low tide at the sea wall and a certain teen-pup had a wonderful time...
some of my stonewylde tribe...
i think i feel this way because i have come down from the adrenaline rush that keeps me going when we camp~i get so excited and happy to be away from the four walls of home~it does give an indication of my life when something like getting away for a few days (and only five miles from home!) can give me such excitement!
last night i was shattered and after a short bath collapsed in bed and slept through until 9 this morning.
today i have been feeling achy and tired.
i have been out harvesting a few things today~a handful of blueberries eaten straight from the bush and a bowl of pea's~picked and eaten straight from the pod within half and hour and sungold tomatoes shared with swampy as he pulled out dead plants and did some deadheading.
i admit i am a bit of a grazer when it comes to the things we grow~most just get eaten as it is picked and i get my 9 a day (did you know diabetics are 9 a day and not 5 a day? sometimes i wish that included chocolate!), easily, without even knowing about it.
calv kindly passed this wonderful piece flint on to my keeping...
i think it is the largest piece of flint i have ever had in my possession and it has the distinct feeling of being placed somewhere special.
sweet pea's and cornflowers are scattered through our little 'roundhouse'...
and a magazine is keeping me inspired...

Ohhhh...I am going camping 7 miles away -lol, next month.
I love your pics and the earthy words of this post.
Eating blueberries freshly picked from the bush....yummmm!!!
Beautiful pictures, I wish I had been there, too! What a great time you seem to have had! Did you get all the sand, salt and mud out of that happy doggy?
Can you recommend an online source to learn yoga, or do you think it is better to begin with a real teacher?
hello Tina-i have always gone down the path of books and videos (before dvd's!) and now dvd's but just lately been thinking of joining a class. the weird thing is after lots of searching online today i found a teacher who lives a five minute walk from me! how weird is that?!
hi boho mom-you know we were five miles from home but it could have been a million!
Looks like you had a lovely time with your tribe. Sorry it all left you shattered though... That flint is amazing!
Glad you enjoyed your meet up with the Stonewylders. It looks as though you had a lot of fun and Flynt is obviously enjoying himself on the beach. It looks a beautiful area.
