The Flame Haired Solstice Dreamer

Cold winter brings the Everfrost and jewels every tree
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
A flame~haired dreamer wanders there and shelters from the wind
And spins her dreams around the trees to break the ties that bind
She takes her thread and spins anew and how the Greenwood smiles
As she spins a spell for freedom and for her spirit Wylde

The dreamer finds an ancient oak and shelters in his lee
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
Tis summer now and birdsong weaves its magick through her spells
And humming bees drum drowsily in the foxglove's bells
The dreamer sits beneath the oak with yarn upon her knee
And spins and knits and weaves her dreams and sets her spirit free

Hopi Prophecy

~our home on wheels~

i have been meaning to post for ages but for some reason i have just not had the motivation~what has been in my head could not be transferred into words

tomorrow swampy, flynt and i will be off in our home on wheels~first to Glastonbury for two days and then onto the campsite near Avebury, where we stayed in may, until the following monday.

on saturday avebury will be taken over by a mass of stonewylde fans gathering for the launch of kit berry's fourth book 'shadows at stonewylde'

the clock is ticking and we really need some extra hours today to get packed.

i shall attempt to find my words while i am away and put them on tumblr~i am sure sitting under the stars listening to our friends beautiful guitar playing will inspire me

so if you want to read my ramblings dont forget to check tumblr

Sometimes I wish I lived further up country so I could get to places like Glastonbury and Avebury. Strange how getting out of Cornwall can be such an issue! That river is not that big! Then I look around and I don't feel so bad.... till someone reminds me of the other great places I am missing! *hugs* have a really great time! Can we have some pics of the great places too?

All things share the same breath~the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
