The Flame Haired Solstice Dreamer

Cold winter brings the Everfrost and jewels every tree
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
A flame~haired dreamer wanders there and shelters from the wind
And spins her dreams around the trees to break the ties that bind
She takes her thread and spins anew and how the Greenwood smiles
As she spins a spell for freedom and for her spirit Wylde

The dreamer finds an ancient oak and shelters in his lee
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
Tis summer now and birdsong weaves its magick through her spells
And humming bees drum drowsily in the foxglove's bells
The dreamer sits beneath the oak with yarn upon her knee
And spins and knits and weaves her dreams and sets her spirit free

Hopi Prophecy

~a hoolie~

thats what it has been doing for about a day now

blowing an absolute hoolie

and raining

hard

the dear soul that is sujee posted on facebook

'hello november'

and that is what it is like, the heat we had last week has been replaced with grey skies, heavy rain and weirdly wild wind.

some people are saying we have had our summer for this year and we are heading into an early autumn

i really hope not

we have places to go
to camp up
things to do

i am not ready to say, in the words of jim morrison,

summer's almost gone...

Summer's almost gone
Summer's almost gone
Almost gone
Yeah, it's almost gone
Where will we be
When the summer's gone?

Morning found us calmly unaware
Noon burned gold into our hair
At night, we swam the Laughing sea
When summer's gone
Where will we be
Where will we be
Where will we be

Morning found us calmly unaware
Noon burned gold into our hair
At night, we swam the Laughing sea
When summer's gone
Where will we be

Summer's almost gone
Summer's almost gone
We had some good times
But they're gone
The winter's comin' on
Summer's almost gone

I would settle for Autumn - a little Septemberyness would be a treat! It is pretty tempestuous out there right now!

All things share the same breath~the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
