yesterday we had a whole day of glorious sunshine here in this ancient forest...all day!
i even sat outside in the garden for half an hour watching swampy work his wonder with some log roll...the old was rotting so had to be replaced, two lengths so far to put back the flower bed we lost when we moved the ferrets home.
now they are down on 'nook too' we have more earth to fill with plants!
today we have returned to grey sky, but no rain and it is not as cold as it has been so that's not too bad.
there was much excitement yesterday when my cloak finally arrived and it is as glorious as the sunshine was yesterday!
to be honest it is slightly darker green that i thought it would be but is so lovely...and so heavy. it is 100% wool...i think it is 'boiled' wool.
i am now looking forward to our summer solstice dawn ceremony with the
Gorsedd of Cor Gawr...my cloak will keep me super warm.
i shall be wearing it before then...in fact it is taking me all of my power to not be sitting here now wearing it!
i will of course be taking it to the stonewylde gathering in may and wearing it when i have my own little rituals here in my garden...and if i feel a bit chilly while sitting in the garden...and i shall of course be wrapped in it when sitting at the camp fire when camping...
i think it will be getting plenty of wear and has prompted swampy to finally use the patterns we have for cloaks and make his own.

i had contact with our GP surgery yesterday and was asked to make an appointment to discuss the results of last weeks x rays.
my immediate thought was that they don't ask you in to see a doctor when there is nothing wrong so it stands to reason something revealed itself in the xray...and by next week when i see the now named 'Dr Gruffalo' (long story!) my blood test results will also be in.
*sigh*
on the brighter side my sister has ordered me a cushion to see if will help my coccydynia!
hopefully it will help because even sitting on a hard chair (apparently the pain is less when sitting on a hard chair...) is painful.
i said to swampy the other day its hard work having the mind of a 20 year old...oh okay the active mind of a 46 year old!...with the body of someone approximately the age of yoda :D
never mind...the plants are pushing up, blossom is opening on our small prunus and i am determined to have a fire in the garden and sit wrapped in my cloak for the spring equinox!!!

I can feel the spring air too. It was so sunny and mild here yesterday...I woke up earlier than usual without an alarm, it was strange - like my body is in tune, in sync, it's great!
Sending peace, love and light regarding your health. You will be fine.
rock on Yoda - lol
peace & happy, glorious weekend!
