urggh i have been feeling dreadful,
all the maladies joining forces to give me a few miserable days.
yesterday i had to resort to my painkillers and my cherry stone pillow heated and on my neck.
i am feeling a bit better today.

magpie and leveret have settled in really well and flynt has taken to them...although his paws are a bit big for playing at the moment.

i have a little confession to make...
i have a kindle...
this will not stop me buying or reading books, certainly not, but my hands and wrists have become so painful it hurts to hold books open.
another reason for buying one is i have been given the chance to review books for a magazine (i shall tell you which one when i get the nod from them!) but i needed an e reader to access the books.
i have to say that reading is much more comfortable for me now and i get little pain.

how are you all today?

Hope you are feeling better and that Flynt has taken to his new companions:) I have a Kindlefire and love it for reading in bed - much easier than holding a book though like you I still read and buy proper books.
Hi Laoi, sorry to hear you're a bit poorly, hope you feel better soon. I too have a kindle, as I find it difficult to hold books especially when reading in bed, but my kindle is very comfy to hold so hopefully you will feel the benefit. Also what I like about it is you can instantly download books to read, instead of going to a bookstore, however saying that, I do LOVE bookstores and spend an extraordinary amount of time in them.... :) I have just started reading Kit Berry's Stonewylde books, found the first one fascinating, will have to get the lot now!!
Blessings to you and yours.

Oh poor you, I know the pain of holding a book and right now a Kindle seems like a good idea. Also, I'm struggling to find a good book that holds my interest, so any suggestions would be welcome :D
Glad the kitties are settling in <3
