i was out in our front garden at twilight last night. i love to go out and sit on the path and listen to the last conversations of the birds, watch the bats and listen to the owls...last night there were three in totally different locations so it sounded as if i was surrounded.
it was great to sit there watching the sky slowly turn dark and the stars come out.
its good to spend that time grounding myself, watching the sky and think of the wheel slowly turning from the element of water and autumn, a time for the subconscious and transformation towards the element of earth and the dark moon of winter.
i can feel this within, in the 'finding' of my object this morning and in the way i feel myself on the edge of significant change.

yes, I am siting here feeling the same.. like a bubbling inside, like I am off on an adventure!
Merry meet. This post of yours reminded me of a winter's charge I wrote years ago. I think I will post it for Samhain.
I have significant changes going on in my life too, and being able to retreat occasionally to the natural world, to its peace, and calming and connecting, is so important to me too Lee. I was out there last night watching the bats as well. This is a real treat isnt it?
