merry meet
i am sure that many of you will remember that phrase from the early nineties?
as i mentioned in a post a few months back my sister sam had managed to get us two very expensive tickets to see Take That...
well we went up to birmingham nec yesterday, booked into our hotel, i dosed myself up with potters cough drops and loaded my pockets with a whole load of tissues, took the shuttle to the nec and discovered that we were going to benefit from the expense of the tickets.
we were about six foot from the front of the stage at the end of the aisle with no-one in front of us except for a security chap.
well i have to say it was the most amazing show i have ever seen...even rivalling Queen who i saw at wembley stadium in 1986...and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves...we even got to touch gary barlow and mark owen when they walked back to the main stage from a smaller one at the centre of the arena down the aisle we were on.
it was quite like being a teenager again!
