The Flame Haired Solstice Dreamer

Cold winter brings the Everfrost and jewels every tree
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
A flame~haired dreamer wanders there and shelters from the wind
And spins her dreams around the trees to break the ties that bind
She takes her thread and spins anew and how the Greenwood smiles
As she spins a spell for freedom and for her spirit Wylde

The dreamer finds an ancient oak and shelters in his lee
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
Tis summer now and birdsong weaves its magick through her spells
And humming bees drum drowsily in the foxglove's bells
The dreamer sits beneath the oak with yarn upon her knee
And spins and knits and weaves her dreams and sets her spirit free

a journey into blandford forum today to drop several boxes off at the local hospitals charity shop so the chance to take some photos.

we stopped off at the top of bulbarrow hill and it was mighty chilly but as usual the views were amazing~i dont think i could ever tire of the view from this high up~i just wish you could see it as i see it~cameras never really do justice to what i am seeing.

we have been up bulbarrow many, many times and have never seen this sign, which today we found in the grass~it looks like it was maybe part of a bench but the words are lovely and i just had to take a picture to post here for you~the words sum up the feelings felt when you stand so high with such a view laid before you.

I have been told that the sky seems very close in England.. and looking at the photo of that view.. I see what my friends mean.
It is gorgeous.. the world is wonderful.. all this gorgeousness for us to enjoy xoxo

All things share the same breath~the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
