Dia dhuit
what a glorious day to celebrate the stirrings of spring, blue skies, my windows are open bringing in the fresh smell of grass and damp earth and bird song drifts in with it.
all morning, well actually since last night, i have had the most amazing feeling building inside of me, like a spring bubbling up from underground, seeking the land above.
so here we are
time to bring forward the wisdom and thoughts we have been nursing over winter, the return of light and the lighting of our candles to bring forth our creative urges, our intuition and inspiration.
plant seeds with your ideas and dreams and let both germinate
a good time too for divination, inner wisdom, healing~
~the rowan~quickbeam~luis
one of the trees of imbolc, in the past it was used for protection, carried as a talisman or hung in doorways; a tree which helps strengthen your life force and ability to gain insight and receive visions.
~willow~saille~
is the other tree of imbolc, a tree of dreaming and enchantment associated with the moon and water, most willow species grow near water.
it helps to even out embalance, allows you to follow your intuition and teaches us to move with life and our feelings.
i have been working on divination and my cards, writing up the things i have been allowed to access at this time.
crystals are charging ready for new dedications. this afternoon i will be going up the lane to breath in the cold air and seeking out the spirit folk who will be stirring.
i shall meditate on the coming year and burn the evergreen from yule on the fire tonight.
what a fantastic, beautiful time and i really hope you are all feeling the same stirrings as i am
Blessed Be
