this is the 'upper' village~we are the 'lower', needless to say those not of the area get confused easily!
looking up to rawlesbury camp~the iron age hill fort i have mentioned in earlier posts
a lovely walk indeed
we didnt go too far as i was getting tired too quickly, but we went far enough up to get some lovely views and it was cold but not too cold.
cody had a great time and got fantasticly muddy~he is now fast asleep on the rug by the fire.
when i got home i re-potted by basil that i keep in the kitchen, the poor thing was a bit pot bound, i now need to clear space on the window sill for the bigger pot.
our wild spring cleaning continued this afternoon~the larderwas the object of our attentions today.
we have a big walk in larder and it is easy to forget things that dissapear into the depths of it.
now it looks rather bare!
today has been a good day~i gave myself the day off from my studies and i felt quite giddy with all that free time!
but i have so enjoyed the day.

What a lovely day you've had,I just love the countryside where you live, and those primroses are so pretty,I like to see cowslips and bluebells growing wild too!Love from Kathyann and the girls
Dorset looks gorgeous. I cannot believe that those primroses flower in the wild.. they are something we have to buy in a pot!
but I guess our australian bush is beautiful in its own way.. *sigh* I need to constantly remind myself!
