The Flame Haired Solstice Dreamer

Cold winter brings the Everfrost and jewels every tree
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
A flame~haired dreamer wanders there and shelters from the wind
And spins her dreams around the trees to break the ties that bind
She takes her thread and spins anew and how the Greenwood smiles
As she spins a spell for freedom and for her spirit Wylde

The dreamer finds an ancient oak and shelters in his lee
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
Tis summer now and birdsong weaves its magick through her spells
And humming bees drum drowsily in the foxglove's bells
The dreamer sits beneath the oak with yarn upon her knee
And spins and knits and weaves her dreams and sets her spirit free

Hopi Prophecy

~today's post...~

...brought more wimbledon tickets!
can you believe it???
these are for the womens final!

however they and the ones sent to my sister cost the eye watering sum of £168~so we have to make a decision about which to go to.
we have had a chat and decided that we would probably opt for the mens semi-final, especially as sam loves Rafael Nadal and I love him and Roger Federer.
but my sister, bless her, thinks it's a once in a lifetime chance to see both and is pondering us actually going to both!

we have agreed to have a think and make our final decision on sunday!

we cant believe how lucky we have been~last year we saw Take That and found ourselves with seats right down the front, now we have the choice of two different days at wimbledon!
Golly...

she is now trying to decide what she can possibly come up with for next year!

All things share the same breath~the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
