The Flame Haired Solstice Dreamer

Cold winter brings the Everfrost and jewels every tree
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
A flame~haired dreamer wanders there and shelters from the wind
And spins her dreams around the trees to break the ties that bind
She takes her thread and spins anew and how the Greenwood smiles
As she spins a spell for freedom and for her spirit Wylde

The dreamer finds an ancient oak and shelters in his lee
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
Tis summer now and birdsong weaves its magick through her spells
And humming bees drum drowsily in the foxglove's bells
The dreamer sits beneath the oak with yarn upon her knee
And spins and knits and weaves her dreams and sets her spirit free

~wild & windy walk~

~i only went out for a short time and got a few shots~as i took the picture above i was blown against the gate and couldn't hold the camera still!
this was the holly tree i posted a picture of yesterday on my walk~such a different sky

walking up to the small woodland~you can see how much the wind is blowing from the little eucalyptus tree on the right.
still it was lovely and really blew the cobwebs of my mornings study away~by the way had the results from my last essay~73% (B)~ i was so pleased with this as it was first B grade i had achieved although i had come very close to it before...2 whole points away!
right now i am listening to the dolmen and planning my menu for our camping week~miss*r i love polenta and am sure i can get swampy and our friend sean to eat it!!!

Congratulations on the B grade Lee, you must feel very pleased with yourself. Hope you survived the wind and rain OK - hope you get better weather for your camping trip.

All things share the same breath~the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
