The Flame Haired Solstice Dreamer

Cold winter brings the Everfrost and jewels every tree
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
A flame~haired dreamer wanders there and shelters from the wind
And spins her dreams around the trees to break the ties that bind
She takes her thread and spins anew and how the Greenwood smiles
As she spins a spell for freedom and for her spirit Wylde

The dreamer finds an ancient oak and shelters in his lee
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
Tis summer now and birdsong weaves its magick through her spells
And humming bees drum drowsily in the foxglove's bells
The dreamer sits beneath the oak with yarn upon her knee
And spins and knits and weaves her dreams and sets her spirit free

Hopi Prophecy

~a quick hello~

just have a few moments to pop and in and say a huge thank you to all of your comments this past few days and i am glad you like the new look blog :)

things here are so frantic and i have to admit being so fed up of living surrounded by boxes, paint and paint brushes! we decided to decorate in order to ensure the return of our deposit which we really need to buy new things for the new home...we went there yesterday and found we need new flooring throughout, the previous tenant took up all the flooring!

i will try to visit you all over the coming days and we are taking a day off tomorrow for the New Forest Show~fingers crossed for better weather!

take care all of you xoxoxo

Moving can be so stressful. But then add in that there's no flooring....that's bad! Just take it slow and easy and everything will get done.

I have been on a little blog break but now I'm back and trying to catch up with everyone.

All things share the same breath~the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
