The Flame Haired Solstice Dreamer

Cold winter brings the Everfrost and jewels every tree
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
A flame~haired dreamer wanders there and shelters from the wind
And spins her dreams around the trees to break the ties that bind
She takes her thread and spins anew and how the Greenwood smiles
As she spins a spell for freedom and for her spirit Wylde

The dreamer finds an ancient oak and shelters in his lee
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
Tis summer now and birdsong weaves its magick through her spells
And humming bees drum drowsily in the foxglove's bells
The dreamer sits beneath the oak with yarn upon her knee
And spins and knits and weaves her dreams and sets her spirit free

Hopi Prophecy

~perils of multiple communication~

yesterday morning was rather out of the ordinary here at the roundhouse
my sister arrived at 8.20am a time when she is usually at her desk
we then set up my desk, sweeping my piles of books and papers to one side we recruited swampys help...

set up a second lap top
one internet phone
one landline phone
three mobile phones
all with different numbers pre-set
i counted down the seconds to 9am from when we spent 45 minutes~yes 45 whole minutes on re-dial...

for what?

oh yes!
are we crazy?
more than likely...in a frenzy of excitement we ended up with tickets for both Manchester and Wembley in june of next year, a week apart. the wembley concert also clashes with the final weekend of wimbledon so if we are lucky enough to get tickets for that we will be busy bee's and more than likely need to keep smelling salts about our person...i can just see myself in my green boots and edwardian waistcoat, carpet bag in hand...
yes, way back in the mists of time they were considered a cheesy boy band and i was never a huge fan but last years concert we went to was just an amazing show and certainly changed my mind about them.

congratulations!! the fastest selling tickets of all time aren't they?? or something like that? I'm not a fan, and probably never will be but I do think they have stuck two fingers up to Robbie in the best possible way!! Which makes them a good thing in my book. Not that I've anything against the delicious Mr Williams .. x

All things share the same breath~the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
