The Flame Haired Solstice Dreamer

Cold winter brings the Everfrost and jewels every tree
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
A flame~haired dreamer wanders there and shelters from the wind
And spins her dreams around the trees to break the ties that bind
She takes her thread and spins anew and how the Greenwood smiles
As she spins a spell for freedom and for her spirit Wylde

The dreamer finds an ancient oak and shelters in his lee
In a forest new as birth and old as old can be
Tis summer now and birdsong weaves its magick through her spells
And humming bees drum drowsily in the foxglove's bells
The dreamer sits beneath the oak with yarn upon her knee
And spins and knits and weaves her dreams and sets her spirit free

~excited!~

i don't usually blog at this time of day...its usually my time to settle down to some food and crochet or reading but i am buzzing a bit today.

i finally got down to working with some Preseli Bluestone

and then registered for a free e-course with jani franck
my first ever e-course and i am feeling really excited about it.

i heard about it via a link from
on facebook
and hope that in the next week i can register for the
creative journalling course that jani does.

calv and i were talking about it earlier and each time he talks about the art house i am determined that i will make it regular visit for me...its the kind of place i keep wishing were in our village...
in fact i am going to get swampy to take me there next week!!!

It sounds fabulous and I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
I also actually won a free spot on a wild earth mama e-course and am so excited about it.
I don't know if it's Spring or my "pre-menopausal" state (ughhh), but I am really craving connection these days.
peace!

boho, yes i know what you mean about connection, it is something that has been on my mind a lot...time for shamanic drumming!
mel jani is great is'nt she...all that energy is amazing!

All things share the same breath~the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
